Sock Weight:

  • RECENTLY UPDATED! Cosmic Sock (4 ply): 85% Extrafine Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Nylon. 437 yards per 100 grams. Mini Skeins ~ 87 yards per 20 grams.
  • Gala Sock (Single Ply): 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool. 393 yards per 100 grams.
  • UPDATED Dazzle Sock (3 ply): 80% Superwash Shaniko Wool, 20% Silver Stellina. 400 yards per 100 grams.

Sport Weight:

  • Dazzle Sport (3 ply): 80% Superwash Shaniko Wool, 20% Stellina. 316 yards per 100 grams.
  • Aurora Merino (1 ply): 90% Extrafine Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Recycled Nylon. 164 yards per 50 grams. Can be used as a Sport weight all the way to a Worsted/Aran weight!!

  • Shaniko Tweed Worsted (3 ply): 89% Nonsuperwash Shaniko Wool, 6% Acrylic, 5% Rayon (the acrylic and the rayon content are the Tweed neps!). 210 yards per 100 grams.

Discontinued Bases

COSMIC SOCK UPDATE!!!

As of January 2025, we are switching our Cosmic Sock base from our 90/10 4 ply base to an 85/15 4 ply base with the same exact micron count and yardage. These yarns are nearly identical in look and feel, and the ONLY reason for the update is quality control on our end. We have loved our 90/10 base, but for some reason it gives us the most errors (dye striking oddly, splotchiness, etc) of any other base we carry, leading to lots of redyes/overdyes, which is very costly for us! We still have quite a lot of the 90/10 base in stock, so if you purchase from the Ready to Ship section you will still receive the original 90/10 yarn, but any new yarn going forward will be dyed on the 85/15.

Sock Weight:

  • Discontinued Sock A (4ply): 85% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Nylon. 437 yards per 100 grams. (We switched suppliers - this yarn is incredibly similar to our current Cosmic Sock base!)
  • Discontinued Sock B (4ply): 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon. 437 yards per 100 grams. (This base dyes up beautifully, but we switched to a very similar but slightly softer wool.)
  • Cosmic Sock (4ply): 90% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Recycled Nylon. 437 yards per 100 grams. (Updated base, see new Cosmic Sock details above!)
  • Dazzle Sock (4ply): 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Nylon, 10% Stellina. 437yd/100g. (updated to superwash Shaniko wool, see above!)
